Anasuya Bharadwaj is an Indian actress and TV presenter who mainly works in Telugu entertainment industry.
She belongs to a Hindu family and was born to Sudarshan Rao (Father) on 15 May 1985 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. She has one younger sister.
Anasuya Bharadwaj is married to Sushanth Bharadwaj and has two sons, Ayanssh Bharadwaj and Shaurya Bharadwaj.
She completed her master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Badruka College, Hyderabad, Telangana in 2008.
Anasuya made her acting debut in 2003 with the Telugu film, Naaga, in which she played the role of a law student. After completing her studies, she started working as an HR Executive in a private company. Later, she started her career as a TV anchor for Sakshi TV. In 2013, she hosted her first Telugu comedy TV show, Jabardasth. After that, she has hosted a number of TV shows like Bindass in 2013, Modern Mahalakshmi in 2013, Thadaka in 2014, One – No More Silly Games in 2014, etc.
After 13 years break from her acting career, Anasuya Bharadwaj made her comeback in 2016 with the Telugu film, Soggade Chinni Nayana, in which she played the role of Bujji. For her film, Kshanam (2016), she won two awards, IIFA Award for Best Supporting Actress in Female – Telugu and SIIMA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
She has also participated in several TV shows as a contestant like Bhale Chancule in 2013, Genes in 2016, Naa Show Naa Ishtam in 2017, and Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu in 2017. She has also judged the first three seasons of talent search reality TV show, Drama Juniours in 2017 and 2018.
