Karan Aujla aka Jaskaran Singh Aujla is a Punjabi singer, rapper, and lyricist. He is also well-known for his controversy with Sidhu Moosewala.
He belongs to a Sikh family and was born to Balwinder Singh Aujla (Father) and Rajinder Kaur Aujla (Mother) on 18 January 1998 in village Ghurala, Ludhiana, Punjab, India. He lost his parents at the age of just 9.
In 2019, Karan Aujla got married to his long-time girlfriend, Palak.
He started his career as a lyricist. When he was in 9th standard, he offered his song lyrics to singer, Jassi Gill at a wedding where Jassi came to be as an invitee. He agreed, and the song was titled as Range. The song was released in 2014 and came out to be hit. Karan also gave his song lyrics to musical artist, Gagan Kokri. Gagan also agreed, and the song was titled as Blessings Of Baapu, which was released in 2015. In between, he got the PR of Canada and shifted there.
Karan Aujla made his singing debut with the song, Cellphone but the song didn’t go well. The Punjabi music director, Deep Jandu motivated him, and then, Karan released his second song, PROPERTY OF PUNJAB in 2016 that was labelled by Desi Beats Records, and the music was given by Deep Jandu. After that, he has sung numerous songs like Soch in 2017, Snitch ft.Elly Mangat in 2017, Gun Shot in 2018, Don’t Worry ft.Gurlez Akhtar in 2018, Rim VS Jhanjar in 2018, Nature in 2019, Don’t Look in 2019, etc.
He also works as a rapper, and some of songs are Lafaafe ft.Sanam Bhullar, Squad Goals ft.ATG RMP, Enough, PCR ft.Gurjas Sidhu, and Snake.
Earlier, Karan Aujla and Sidhu Moose Wala were good friends, but, later, they broke their friendship because of unknown reason. According to some sources, Karan leaked some songs of Sidhu Moose Wala. In 2018, Karan released songs like “Up & Down” and “Lafaafe,” in which he allegedly defamed Sidhu Moose Wala. In reply to Karan’s songs, Sidhu Moose Wala released the song “Warning Shots” in which Sidhu allegedly defamed Karan Aujla.
Karan Aujla has multiple tattoos on his body that relates to his parents.
