Varun Dhawan is a popular Indian actor who has made his appearance in a number of popular Bollywood films.

Family:

He belongs to a Punjabi Hindu family and was born on 24 April 1987 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. His father, David Dhawan is a film director and his mother, Karuna Dhawan is a homemaker. Varun has an elder brother, Rohit Dhawan, who is a film director by profession.

Girlfriend:

He is dating fashion designer, Natasha Dalal. Varun and Natasha studied in the same school.

Education:

Varun Dhawan did his schooling from Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai. He also went to H.R. College of Commerce & Economics in Mumbai for intermediate studies. For higher studies, he went to Nottingham Trent University in Nottingham, England, where he completed his degree in Business Management.

Career:

He started his career as an assistant director by assisting Karan Johar in Indian drama film, My Name Is Khan (2010). Varun learned acting from Barry John Acting Studio in Mumbai, along with Arjun Kapoor. They also worked in a short film, White Mountain. In 2012, he got his first Bollywood film, Student of the Year, in which he played the lead role of Rohan Nanda, opposite, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. After the hit of this film, he has acted in many other hit films like Main Tera Hero (2014) as Sreenath Prasad, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) as Rakesh Sharma, Badlapur (2015) as Raghav Purohit, ABCD 2 (2015) as Suresh Mukund, Dilwale (2015) as Veer Randhir Bakshi, Dishoom (2016) as Junaid Ansari, Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017) as Badrinath Bansal, Judwaa 2 (2017) as Prem Malhotra, etc.

In 2018, Varun Dhawan made his special appearance in the song “High Rated Gabru” of the film, Nawabzaade.
